People from across the South of Scotland are being encouraged to apply to become a member of the Regional Economic Partnership (REP). The REP is looking to appoint a total of eight external members, representing the following sectors: - Four representatives from business and enterprise (private sector) - Two social enterprise representatives - Two community representatives

Scotland’s first Regional Land Use Framework published for the South of Scotland

The South of Scotland continues to drive forward its ambition for a wellbeing economy as the region’s first Regional Land Use Framework (RLUF) is published today (Monday 30 September). The RLUF, which is the first to be published in Scotland, will be a key driving force behind change across the South of Scotland as it sets out the vision and priorities for land use across the whole region to address the climate and biodiversity crises.

We form part of a new regional structure in the South of Scotland to help drive economic success. We are driving forward the Regional Economic Strategy.
